Dr. Jennifer Towles
Dr. Jen moved to Amelia Island from South Carolina when she was a teenager. She graduated from FBHS in 1990. She is 1994 graduate of Jacksonville University and a 2000 Graduate of University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Jen completed a a small animal internal medicine and surgical internship from Hollywood Animal Hospital in 2001. She enjoys her time off by camping, painting, gardening, and spending time with her family. Dr. Jen’s family includes her husband, two sons, four cats, and a turtle named Charlie. Dr. Jen is an active member of the community and can often be spotted around town.
Debbi Taylor
Debbi Taylor has been our Practice Manager since January 2019. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida who has recently moved to Fernandina Beach. She has 3 sons, 1 daughter and 3 granddaughters. She has two senior dogs, Peaches and Scarlett. She loves the beach and Harley motorcycle riding with her husband, Bryan.
Erica Byrd
Erica is a local girl. She joined AIAH in January of 2012. Erica has been a lover of animals her whole life. Erica has four dogs at home. When not at AIAH, Erica loves to spend time with her family and spends her spare time scrapbooking and involved in creative pursuits.

Haley is a Yulee High School Graduate of the class of 2020. She is preparing to go to college after this summer to continue her education in the dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dex is from Southeast Georgia and graduated from Camden County Hight School in 2022, attended Coastal Pines Technical Collect to receive a Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2025. Dex has worked in the field for two years. Dex enjoys painting, making pottery and spending time with her cat Scout, and her girlfriend.

Hi! This is Cassie. She's been in the animal field for about 7-8 years from kennel tech to vet tech and everything in between. She took a break in those year to have and raise her daughter, and now she's ready to jump back in and work the field she's passionate about. She has 2 cats (Squid and Soup) and 1 dog LT. She enjoys video games, sharks teeth hunting and spending time with her daughter.
